I am two.

I am so thrilled that there is a real live baby inside of me.

That the baby is growing, and God willing, it will actually be born alive and healthy in April...

I felt a bunch of its little kicks earlier today after eating ice cream! The kicks are still so tiny that they could easily be mistaken for gas bubbles that are stuck in one spot.

I can't wait until I'm complaining about being socked in the ribs or kicked in the bladder.

Look at this...

In the ultrasound picture you can see the little yolk sac on the far left, it looks like a bubble.

It's neat to think of what it actually looks like inside of there!

I also didn't share this ultrasound picture yesterday...It's the baby's profile but he/she has the hand up at the nose and mouth.

If you look closely you can see all of the leg. The baby actually has knees that bend and long legs! In the 3d/4d pictures they look like stubs, but from another angle we could see the knees bending and the legs stretching out and kicking me!!

In other news, Tyler was supposed to hear from Toyota this week about when he would start work and what shift, but they never called.

It makes me kind of concerned since we really REALLY need the money as soon as possible.

He talked to my FIL's friend this morning, who is the assistant manager in HR for the Toyota plant. He said that he put Tyler's name down for a specific job (didn't say what) that was a good position and he has no idea why they didn't call this week. I hope something isn't going to fall through. There's no reason Tyler shouldn't have passed the drug tests (urine and hair) or the physical.

I can't wait until Monday. FIL's friend said he would check up on it for Tyler first thing the morning, and Tyler is going to call the hiring agency Toyota uses and ask them what's up.

The HR friend told Tyler that it probably just means they don't want him to start this Monday.

Blah.

Pray he gets to start soon before we end up with a huge credit card bill full of groceries and gas. Since I've been pregnant and feeling miserable, Tyler has been doing the grocery shopping. Good bye budgeting. He buys all kinds of crap I would normally never let in our house, like poptarts and other expensive prepackaged crap. We've also been eating more take out than we would ever eat regularly because I've been feeling too sick to cook.

Ah well. It will all work out somehow, as long as he gets that job and starts soon.
